How long treatment lasts
This may be the most frequent question I get on evaluations: how long will my baby need treatment? The guideline is that the earlier we start, the less time they will be in therapy. Average timelines by start age: under 1 month — about 1.5 months of treatment; 1-3 months — 5.9 months; 3-6 months — 7.2 months; 6-12 months — 8.9 months. Starting therapy earlier can also save you from the added cost of a helmet versus starting at 6+ months and needing one.
