FAQs

  • Do you take insurance?

We do not participate in any insurance plan or Medicaid at this time and are considered an out-of-network provider on most health plans. Your insurance company may reimburse you for out-of-network services, but you will need to contact your individual insurance provider for additional information. LMNOPeds can provide a monthly superbill upon request.

  • Can you do 30 minute treatment sessions?

I find that 45-60 minute treatment sessions are better suited for my patients. The extra 15 minutes allows for education, caregiver handling, building a rapport with your child and/or time for those unexpected and untimely surprises.

  • Can we waive the evaluation since I've been receiving therapy services somewhere else already?

This will be determined on a case by case basis. Initial evaluations are very important as they allow a chance to assess the child thoroughly, address questions and concerns, establish guidelines, build a rapport and design a plan of care based on your child’s current level of function. Physical therapists’ may have a similar background education; but, we come with an individual distinct skillset, frame of mind and continued education that may differentiate us.

  • Do you offer tele sessions?

Yes! Tele is a wonderful option if someone isn’t feeling well, if you’re traveling, or if you prefer education instead of hands-on treatment for the day! It is also a great way to be present with you for doctor’s appointments, orthotic appointments, and/or school meetings to assist in communication with other professionals.

  • Can you see my child in another location?

Yes! We can meet at a park, another family members home, a mommy and me class or a school (as long as cleared by that particular institution).
